I think about this every time I type it out haha. Something about 'fewer' just seems so... formal? Less makes it sound like the express lane at the supermarket, 10 items or less, so I stuck with it.

The more I think of it, the more I like the idea of 10 words. Really makes you think of how to phrase your value prop so that it's catchy and gets the user intrigued. Looking through the thread, I spotted a few really curious ones, but also a lot of bad, boring, non-enticing ones.
I totally agree with you. Great idea and very catchy. I like the simplicity and the usefulness of it. You could find interesting things there.

Can't belive other note taking/calendar apps can't manage to get this done. Happy that you are working on it!
Shhhh. As long as other apps don't do this, I still have some leverage, lol.
But yeah, strange that no one did this before. There were apps with autocomplete (which gave you suggestions in random, ML-determined order, requiring you to still read through them to find the one); there were apps like Later for iOS, which only provided shortcuts for time, but you still had to type the title yourself. And the pattern I implemented is not entirely new — in retrospective it's very similar to bar/cafe POS software.

It's accumulating quite a bit of data, so I'm working on some ways to make that data useful to founders to help them refine their pitches. It started here on IH last spring and has been a fun project :)
On another note, I've been working on a list app the last year or so for my own use, but it's starting to get a pretty solid user base. I wonder if there's some crossover we can do with Checkli... 🤔

What email subscriber form are you using? I have a fun little side project cubspage.com and I need to add a email capture form.
I actually built the whole thing myself on top of Amazon SES. I wouldn't recommend it haha, but it's allowed me to automate everything, customize emails, and do some nifty things on the data side that might have been tougher with a traditional marketing email provider.

I think I like authmagic, but the wording on the homepage is a little ambiguous.
Is it generating a 1-time use link that's emailed to users, and they click it to securely log in?
I dig the whole passwordless movement, but I'm wondering how consumers feel about it. I'll be excited to see where this takes you :)

Yes, that's one way to use it. In general you send an email (and associate some information with it), forget about it and when the user comes back you have verified data and can act upon it (be it logging user in, resetting password etc.).

I wish there was like a ranking plugin, and after a while i can review and see what i didn't like and proceed with unfollow. Also nice to know how many things i didn't liked were tweets or retweets
Totally. That's actually part of the process before you proceed with the unfollow. We show you a list of the people you follow, ranked, and you can choose those who you want to keep. Everyone else gets unfollowed.
