Exploring some options🤠

Hey!

I'm Thomas, but most call me choobie! I've lurked around IH for ages but something compelled me to finally make my account.

As a quick preface: I'm running the day-to-day of a few projects for one of the grittiest startup studios around. We're called ElevenYellow. We consider ourselves family, and together we've built about 70 products over the course of six years.

Not gonna lie, most of them sucked ass. We've abandoned most of our projects, but we've held onto a select few over the past few years. Importantly, all of our projects sustain themselves and we're bootstrapped from the bottom up.

Now then... finding the right kind of person is damn hard. Seriously. I screen about 200 applicants a month and the vast majority just don't bring a smile to my face. That's super disheartening, but it's also why I'm here - I think I'll be able to connect with a few people that are more like us and less like the rest.

This isn't a thinly-veiled attempt at writing a job listing, not really anyway. I've got a couple of projects I want us to pursue... but I have nobody left in the team to build it with. We're at a stage now where we can't add to our portfolio without stretching the team.

Maybe that's where you come in? It doesn't matter whether you're a technical co-founder or whether you're that somebody who can't get Hello World up on your screen.
