Greetings, Everyone,
I had an intriguing idea yesterday (although it might be a bit unconventional) on how to attract more customers for my SaaS platform, which you can find at https://matchkraft.com/.
The core feature of my SaaS is email discovery. Consequently, I pondered the possibility of developing a program capable of converting Product Hunt URLs into the business emails of the creators.
For instance, you could input a list like this:
The algorithm would then search for any email addresses associated with these URLs. Essentially, I'm conducting this search using a straightforward algorithm that generates emails. In other words, I combine a name with a domain to derive a business-to-business (B2B) email, followed by validation.
Today, I ran some experiments and managed to retrieve some valid emails. However, the conversion rate is rather low, sitting at around 2%. But I believe there's room for improvement, and I can accumulate a substantial number of emails.
The idea revolves around amassing a pool of emails and then reaching out to indie hackers, soliciting their support on Product Hunt. Additionally, I can offer my Product Hunt email retrieval service, which I think would pique their interest.
I understand that some users may view sending emails as spammy. However, in this case, I'm offering a product directly relevant to Product Hunt users.
I'd love to hear your thoughts. Do you consider this idea to be viable?
