Content Writing and Republishing on Medium

I want to share my experience with content writing and republishing on medium.

I write in my product's blog to get some SEO benefits. I wanted to try out repurposing and republishing my content.

I wrote an article on June 15 on my blog. I wanted to repurpose and republish to Medium. I followed this video by Alexandra Monica Cote: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LkxKk583MIo. I published on Medium on June 23. The next day I got a private message from an editor of a publication stating that he liked my story. He added me as a writer and shared a link about their publishing guidelines. He directed me to go to the last step of submitting the article to his publication.

I had the option to submit immediately. But I glanced at the guidelines to make a few tweaks to the title and photo attribution format. I took the choice of not adding a sub-title. I submitted the story.

In a few minutes, the editor published my story in his publication. I checked my story and noticed the editor had added a sub-title. I thanked him for it.

So what helped. 1. Using Hemingway Editor. Even Grammarly is fine so that your story is free from glaring copy errors. An editor should like your story or your followers should like it to clap for it. 2. Republish the story from your blog following the video link given above.

I am not an expert at this but I am sure motivated to write more stories that I can republish on Medium.

I hope this helps fellow founders here.
