F5Bot monitors Reddit. Nothing monitors Dev. to, Indie Hackers, and GitHub discussions.

I'm an indie dev actively doing distribution for my product. Every day I manually check these platforms to see if anyone mentioned my product or asked a question I could answer.

It's slow, I miss things, and by the time I find a thread it's already 2 days old.

F5Bot is great but only covers Reddit. Brand24 and Mention.com are $50+/month — overkill for solo devs.

I'm building a simple mention monitor that covers:

  • Dev.to
  • Indie Hackers
  • GitHub Discussions

You enter your product name and keywords. Get alerted the moment someone mentions it. Reply fast, get noticed.

$9/month. No fluff.

Simple yes/no: would you pay for this? Drop a yes/no below.

  1. 2

    F5Bot proved the demand.

    The gap is real.
    The name is the bottleneck.

If this becomes the default lightweight mention layer for indie products, F5Bot-style utility naming will cap trust fast.

    You’re not building a bot.
    You’re building monitoring infrastructure.

That gets taken more seriously with a name that can scale past “indie side tool.”

Beryxa.com fits that much better if you’re planning to turn this into a real product, not just a keyword notifier.
