1 - show examples of gifts (maybe a few categories -- i.e. gifts for mom, or for a specific user persona -- show how the app will actually work)

right now, you aren't showing enough real value to get customer buy-in

2 - show pricing info -- I want to know how much it costs (especially if it's free)

3 - would be useful to have this integrate with my calendar to find birthdays and automatically suggest gifts

4 - i don't think this is an idea that lends itself well to signing up for a landing page -- so your results might not reflect the actual desire for this product

I like the design and it's nicely laid out.

The heading "Making It Easy To Be Thoughtful" initially confused me a little. I think it could be more literal - "We find gifts for your loved ones" as an example.

On another note, there's a bug with the email form. You're able to submit when it's empty.

    Keep working hard! :)

Another quick note, this is coming from a web dev, so take it with a grain of salt, but the Gift Genius logo looks exactly like a bunch of tech logos (react, redux, rxjs, etc). The "atom" element is good, I think the circle that is around it doesn't really say anything about your product. Maybe some sort of simple square or something to tie in "gift"?

The design is good. The problem is that it is very "stock" and forgettable. The project concept is very clever, I'm a huge fan of the idea. Try marketing the idea more directly, because the little man swiping from the list of generic "skeleton" place holder items gives zero information about your product. That same illustration could be used on any other list oriented app's landing page.

For no design experience, you have a very clean and structured page. It just needs more of your product and it'll be perfect.

    1. Consider using a brighter / warmer color scheme. Blue is best for tech services.
    2. The atom logo is confusing. Maybe a 3D logo featuring a small box in gift wrapping?
    3. Photos of real, smiling people increase conversions. But don't use stock photos!
    4. Like another comment said, more examples would help to understand your offering better.

    Good luck!

    Hi Steve!

Congratulations on launching your landing page. Despite your self measured lack of design and marketing skills, it's quite a nice one for me. I have some feedback:

    • Your CTA says "Join for Free", but your landing page doesn't really tell me what you're building or how it does/will achieve its stated goals.
    • Services that determine how my relationships are, are always of great concern to me in a privacy sense. It would be nice to be made sure that my data will not be used for Evil.
    • Pricing information is missing. This is crucial.

    Hope this helps.
