I'm usually posting weekly updates on my HN-inspired newsletter, but this is too important to miss.
Just announced 2 hours ago:

(HN thread)
Excited to see what will this do to the e-commerce space. What do you think?
Fucking Facebook. I wonder where they’ll bloat to next. The COVID guise is pretty manipulative as well.
hi, I just created a new facebook page for my site https://wikicreatorsinc.com/ . How can get more likes without asking anyone to do it for me?
If you dont want to ask people, run page like ad campaigns otherwise posting on the page would get you no where.
Amazingly good timing with COVID-19 right now; Right now many small businesses are struggling, and with stores closing, more are looking to bring their business online... - and yes, they are right.
The Live Shopping Feature is very interesting, these features are what gives value to vloggers and influencers.
Seems this is not rolling out worldwide soon.
"We’re also working more closely with partners like Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, ChannelAdvisor, CedCommerce, Cafe24, Tienda Nube and Feedonomics"
... shouldn't the good people at Shopify et al. be trembling in fear right now?
I guess not, because Shopify is supposed to be the "backend" (inventory management, etc). I don't think FB will get into that category, they're more competing with Amazon & Google Shopping here.
