Failed 10+ Projects Before Launching This – My "Anti-Failure" Toolkit for Indie Hackers

I’m the king of quitting.

Over the past year, I abandoned 10+ projects (like Gloow and FormulaDog) for one stupid reason: I kept rebuilding the same damn features.

Every. Single. Time:
🔥 4 hours debugging Stripe webhooks
🔥 6 hours fighting Tailwind layouts
🔥 ∞ hours crying over auth logic

I’d burn out before even starting the actual product.

So I built the thing I needed most:
Indie Kit – a Next.js boilerplate that automates all the BS:
✅ Stripe subscriptions (with upgrade/downgrade logic)
✅ Auth & protected routes (plug-and-play)
✅ User quotas & plan management
✅ Pre-built admin dashboard
✅ SEO-optimized landing templates (shadcn/ui)

The irony? IndieKit.pro was built using Indie Kit itself. Meta, right?

Why share this?
Because if you’re:

  • Stuck setting up billing instead of building

  • Overwhelmed by Next.js config hell

  • Secretly Googling “how to quit indie hacking”

…this might save you 37+ hours/month.

Progress so far:

  • 34 waitlist signups

  • 11 paying users (shoutout to the brave early adopters!)

  • Built 100% solo (while battling existential dread)

What’s next?

  • B2B SaaS templates

  • Multi-tenancy support

  • Your brutal feedback (roast me!)

For the IH community:
Use code IHACKLAUNCH for 15% off. If you’ve ever rage-quit a project, let’s commiserate in the comments. 😅
