Failed Product Hunt Launch. Feedback?

Do you mind me asking how you made the cool top section on your landing page. With the flyting logos. Did you use some library?

I understand that the problem comes from the PH post itself, not the website since you got so few page views. The first thing that comes to my mind is your thumbnail or first image. It actually doesn't say anything about what one can do with the product. The second is better and displays a nice UI (congrats on that!).

Maybe putting as the first image something more explicit, even if it looks like a PowerPoint slide, would have lent better results? A gif would be the best though.

About your landing page, I personally like the cover but it feels like the second page is very busy with text and it's a bit repelling. My advice would be to :

1. add some space between the different elements,

2. synthesize to the max (for example in the first paragraph, you could write something like: Use precise filters to search through 55k+ Angel Investors and VC. Get their email, phone number, and social profiles).

3. Maybe skip the 3 square elements as you're saying the same thing as in your first paragraph. The only difference is the download part. Or you could try to make it on a How it works format with 1) search, 2) find how to contact them, and 3) download the list and start the work or something in that vein.

Great content. You might want to update the container border of investor, less colors coz it's very busy.

I tried 3 searches of investors I know and nobody came up. Didn't feel like it works to me.

Just some quick feedback:

1. Honestly, the name kinda bothers me. "List of Investor" sounds weird, and right off the bat the site feels like it's made hastily without attention to detail. Not a place where I'd want to be searching for investor data.
2. You should implement a loading state to the search functionality, wasn't sure it was working at first before results started popping up!
