Thanks to AI, Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) is no longer an exhausting process. You can generate polished copy, fresh designs, and full landing pages — and test them against real traffic — all in a single day.
Here’s exactly how to go from data to tested page variants, start to finish in one day.
Step 1: Start with data, not opinions
Before you open ChatGPT or any AI tool, ground yourself in real data. Even the best AI output won’t help if you’re solving the wrong problem.
Where?
- Open your analytics tool: Google Analytics, Plausible, Mixpanel, or whatever you use.
What to do?
- Identify the landing page or product page with the most potential upside — usually the one with the most traffic or the worst conversion rate.
- Look for bounce rate, conversion rate, exit points — places where visitors are dropping off or getting confused.
Step 2: Write a clear hypothesis
AI is powerful — but it needs direction.
Write down a specific hypothesis about what will move the needle.
For example:
- “A simpler headline and clearer CTA will boost sign ups by 20%.”
- “Adding testimonials near the top will reduce bounce rates.”
- “Emphasizing our pricing clarity will build trust and boost demos.”
Why?
- Because this gives you a compass. You’re not just generating pretty words or random ideas — you’re testing real fixes to real problems.
Step 3: Generate copy variants with AI
Now, use AI to quickly produce multiple copy directions that directly address your hypothesis.
Where?
- Open Jasper, Copy.ai, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude — any advanced text AI.
How?
- Paste in your current landing page copy — headline, subhead, CTA, and maybe a few bullet points.
Prompt example — tailored to your hypothesis:
"Rewrite this landing page copy in 3 different ways, focused on these goals:
1️⃣ Clarify who it's for
2️⃣ Make the CTA more direct and action-focused
3️⃣ Remove jargon and make benefits immediately clear
Each version should be concise, punchy, and focused on indie founders who want fast results."
This gives you 3 sets of headlines, subheads, and CTA ideas — all grounded in your hypothesis.
Step 4: Cross-check the AI variants with your data
This is critical — don’t just pick the one that sounds best. Use your data to see if the variant actually fixes the friction points you identified.
How? Go back to your analytics notes:
- Does this headline fix the confusion you saw?
- Does this CTA make the next step obvious?
- Are the pain points (like hesitation or drop-offs) addressed?
Example: If visitors are bouncing because they’re unsure who the product is for, choose the variant that spells it out directly — even if it’s not the flashiest headline.
Step 5: Build visual variants — Combine copy and design
Now that you have copy you’re confident in, it’s time to create real landing pages with visuals and layout that drive attention and clicks.
Where?
- Use AI design tools like V0 and Lovable.dev. These let you paste in your copy and generate full landing page layouts instantly.
What about images (like hero graphics, illustrations)?
- If you want unique visuals, use Midjourney or Dall-E to create them first — custom illustrations, icons, etc.
- Download those images and upload them into your AI design tool’s editor.
How to upload your brand assets?
- In V0, Lovable, or Relume, look for the “Brand Kit” or “Branding” section.
- Upload your logo, color palette, typography, and style references — this ensures your generated designs stay on-brand.
Prompt example for your AI design tool:
“Use this copy to create 3 different landing page layouts:
- Main CTA above the fold
- Customer testimonials near the top
- Minimalist, high-contrast style for solo founders
- Use these images I uploaded as hero visuals.”
You’ll instantly get three complete landing page designs, not just wireframes — copy, layout, visuals, and hierarchy.
Step 6: Set up real A/B tests
You’re not done yet. Now it’s time to test with real visitors.
Where?
- Use V0’s built-in A/B testing if you used their tool.
- Or try Unbounce or Convert.com for easy split-testing — both simple to set up and reliable.
How to upload and set up?
-
Upload your 3 variants as separate URLs or test pages. For example:
- /landing-a
- /landing-b
- /landing-c
-
In Google Optimize (or your chosen tool), create an experiment. Set your goal: clicks on the CTA, form submissions, or purchases.
How long to run it?
- If you have enough traffic, you can see meaningful data in 1–2 days — perfect for a fast-moving founder.
Step 7: Let AI analyze the results
Where to see AI analysis?
- In V0’s built-in testing dashboard, Unbounce, or another A/B testing tool that uses AI insights.
What do these AI insights do?
- Highlight which variant is winning.
- Show if the differences are statistically significant.
- Sometimes even suggest next steps, like “Variant B is outperforming — consider rolling it out sitewide.”
Remember: AI insights are helpful, but you’re still the decision-maker — treat them as data points, not gospel.
Step 8: Micro-iterations — test, learn, repeat
Here’s the real power: AI lets you move fast, so don’t stop at one test.
How?
- Take your winning variant and prompt AI again for micro-improvements. For example:
“Generate 3 new CTAs for this page — one personal, one urgent, one playful.”
- Update your page quickly in your tool (V0, Lovable).
- Run another mini test.
Example prompt for deeper insights:
"Here's my top-performing variant's data: Variant A: 2.2% CTR Variant B: 3.8% CTR Variant C: 2.9% CTR Variant B leads, but has lower time on page. Give me 3 possible reasons why and suggest next tweaks."
The AI helps you think faster — surfacing insights you might have missed.
This isn’t just about AI doing the work. It’s about you, the founder, using AI as a superpower — to test, learn, and iterate with precision.

This is a really insightful take on how AI is revolutionizing CRO, especially for solo founders. I’m curious how far we are from fully automating the entire funnel—from initial design through copywriting to analytics—and what challenges might arise in terms of maintaining originality and brand authenticity. Would love to hear thoughts from other solopreneurs on how they're leveraging these new tools!
Bookmarked it and it seems more to grasp what tech has for us overtime to make things easy and efficient since i was able to cover till 3rd point.
This is gold. Feels like a CRO playbook for solopreneurs in 2025 — fast, focused, and zero fluff.
Love the “data before copy” mindset and the way AI is used as a precision tool, not a crutch.
Definitely saving this for my next landing page sprint. Thanks for sharing 🙌
Loved this breakdown, Aytekin — most people obsess over CRO tactics, but you nailed the full cycle from data to action. I work with solo/lean teams to make sure all this CRO effort actually shows up in the financials — where money’s coming in, where it’s leaking, and what version is really paying off. If you’re ever up for a free teardown of the financial side of A/B testing (profit vs. vanity wins), happy to share. No pitch, just insight. 🙌
It sounds promising, but please show me the actual variations you've created. I can then assess how closely they match our needs. In experiments, the business context is vital; it's more important than AI. You can run ten experiments on your headline using ChatGPT, but if none are informed by proper user research and context, they'll likely produce similar results. And I don't mean Google Analytics by proper user research, I'm referring to in-depth user journey review, interviews, surveys, and many other things. Also, the hypotheses you mentioned at the top are quite weak; everyone is using similar ones right now in 2025.
This is a solid CRO framework for solopreneurs. Quick, actionable, and easy to follow. The “data first, AI second” strategy stood out to me—especially with the practical prompt examples provided. I will try this on my next landing page test. Thanks for sharing!
Thats great insights bro !
I appreciate how each step ties directly back to data, not just intuition. The focus on combining AI tools for both copy and design really shows how accessible CRO has become.
great roadmap — tysm!
