Fastest Way To Validate A Business Idea

Hey Everyone,

I was just wondering who in here has a good strategy for SaaS business idea validation?

I'm thinking of collecting pre-orders (annual access to mid tier package at 80% OFF - $499) but not sure how I'm going to convince people to pay for a product that doesn't exist yet - and probably won't for a few months at least.

Anyone got tips, or experience with this?

    Have you spoken to as many potential customers as possible and asked them 1) if they are currently spending on solving the problem you are addressing? 2) if they are how much they spend? 3) if not, why not?

    If they are spending your solution should aim to be 10x faster/cheaper/“better” in order for them to want to switch.
