My side project, FastMonitor, is the simple monitoring tool for uptime and sitespeed. We are getting ready to launch, but users don't really understand my dashboard.
You can setup a free account on staging and give it a go. Then roast me! (or give constructive feedback).

I tried to sign up but never received the auth link by email. Does the auth system work on the dev subdomain?

My initial take is the dashboard is easy to understand. The overall organization and design could be better but this works. I've never used an uptime monitoring tool, so this is a first for me
1. Pages is straightforward
• I understand what it is and how to use it.
• The instructions are wordy
• The Add Pages box takes up a lot of space
• The table list of pages looks good
• I didn't notice the URL was clickable and links to a details page
2. I have no idea what APIs is for. But the page is empty. I'm guessing it is to monitor API uptime.
3. Settings.
• Settings is okay, but could have better design.
• Settings is also slower than the rest of the site.
4. Errors
• I've cause several errors while clicking around
5. Landing Page. I'm interested to know how users get to the dashboard. Is it from fastmonitor.io

I agree with @SpicyLabs that the landing page needs some work – the login stuff takes up way too much space and focus before even clearly telling the user what this is.
I signed up and was a little bit confused as well, quite a bit of text to read. My first thought was also that I'd probably need to add some code tag on my site or something to use it so was a bit confused there as well, but then realised that of course you can probably test this without that which felt clever! Once I finally got all the pieces I think it's pretty clear how it works!
My thought then was that I'd probably both like to be able to be notified myself on downtimes (which you mention) but I might want to display this info to our users as well! Is that possible?

Sorry i should have sent people to the landing page and then to the test app. You saw the login page for the test app, not the landing page (which is at www.fastmonitor.io, and embarrasing and old, will redo it ASAP)
We'll be able to add a site speed widget i think, which is a nice growth loop for us as well. Maybe if you add the widget, you can get a discount.
regarding all that reading, i think its indicitive of lack of confidence that people know what to do and why... i think i need a more serious welcome page.

Oh you're right, that could be a really cool growth loop for you because I certainly wouldn't mind having your logo and name on our uptime status page. That'd almost feel even more credible that this update is reported by some other service.

First impressions is that, the landing page is lacking some info about the product itself.
Usually, before I register I would like to know a bit more about the product.
If you could provide some use-cases, examples, or screenshots to be able to see what I can expect once I sign up.
If you are just about to launch see if you can get people to understand the product without having to sign up. Maybe it's my lack of understanding of the domain, and if you users are going to be people who have the domain knowledge to understand the product then it's fine.

The new landing page is still a work in progress. But i guess its a critical part of understanding what you'll see when you get in. We have an old terribly ugly landing page at www.fastmonitor.io.
Okay, that makes a lot more sense.
It has key information, i have a far better understanding of your product now. The info is clear an concise. It's a good landing page, just add a CTA on the
navtoo. :)
