#free-ideas
I'll share 5 ideas every week from my journal with the IH community. If any idea stands out to you, let's start a conversation in the comments below.
Content Editing As A Service: You provide the written blog and we make it look good by A) proof-reading, B) checking links, C) adding nice visuals and D) formatting for readability. Service at a monthly fixed fee or on-demand.
Hotel Gym Review: I hate being in a hotel with shitty gym equipment. Real reviews and pictures of hotel gyms. Simple enough. Monetise through sponsored content.
Legends: A podcast featuring the older generation only sharing their life stories so we can actually learn something from those who experienced history.
Gymnastic Courses for Babies: Teach babies & toddlers gymnastic moves taught by experienced trainers, swim programs for babies online, so you can do the training on your own.
Event Marketing Idea: free event marketing and promotion tips send to your inbox twice per week from the best event marketers in the world.
Love #3! I just recommended this to a fellow IH'er yesterday
Awesome, @Davey - I talked to an elderly person (80 years) the other day about his life and his stories and it makes you realise how valuable that information is.
The sad thing is, that some elderly people have no one left to share those stories with.
Life is precious and it would be amazing to find a way to capture those stories for the next generation.
Thank you again for your comment.
love it, their stories and life experiences should not go when they go, great idea for humanity as we don't need to write on walls anymore, it's digital and lasts forever
Someone should do the Legends idea. It seems like a more meta verison of the Tim Ferriss Show
#2 is really cool. It'd be fun to aggregate reviews from non-hotel gyms, too!
Hi ,
As I mentioned above , we actually developed #2.
We use AI to analyse hotel pictures and tag them properly.
See your example here:

Would love to hear your thoughts,

This looks pretty nice, although I don't see the ability to actually look at the gym's pictures or rate it.
I'm on mobile, so maybe that's why?
Well , that's one step further...
We want to develop this in the near future.
I love the first idea, just because it's easy to set up to get started quickly.
Hey @fatou,
I agree with you. It's definitely easy to get started.
The editing process is alway the most painful one. Writing has a lot to do with design and UX, but I'm not so sure if agencies and/or corporates would attribute much value to a service like that.
You are right.
I don't know much about writing, so I think as a programmer 😂.
Agencies might not find this service very helpful but small businesses might.
It's still a good idea :)
#4 was done to me...24 years later super flexible still
Hey @danieltsinis,
That's amazing. Did you learn that from your parents? I know that today, there are loads of courses in real life, but I was wondering if parents can learn the same from instructors through the app?
I take my little one swimming each Saturday and to be honest, it's mainly just for socialising and I could do the same exercises with my little one in a public pool.
Thank you
yea! my dad was a gymnast in the Soviet Union so right after I was born he started stretching me as a baby. I eventually segued into competitive gymnastics when I was around 6 years old but was already quite used to a lot of the basic movements so was easier to begin.
I guess for the app there would probably be only a specific age in which the adult can guide the child through specific positions in order to make them more flexible. I feel like that's the main attribute which could be worked on safely without a gymnastics environment.
#2 was actually developed by us!
Introducing HoteloWiz.com - your hotel wizard, finding you the perfect hotel according to your preferences, hobbies and needs.
We use AI to analyse hotel pictures and tag them properly.
Therefor, when a client is looking for hotels with gyms in tel aviv on google, we can show him a collection of gyms pics rather than the generic pics of the hotel.
See your example here:
https://www.hotelowiz.com/israel/tel-aviv/hotels/gym
Note that we also offer a wizard that asks you a few questions and find the perfect hotel for you.
Would love to hear your thoughts,
Sinay
