FE Developers: How do you design stuff?

What's your design process when building a new project?
Do you create the design on your own? Do you order it from some marketplace like fiverr?
Do you just start programming and kind of let the design do itself?
What's your process?
I try to stay away from having to design logos, recently found logology.co and it has been a life saver on that end!
For UI, I usually jump onto figma and start doing some wireframing first, then improve from there until some basic initial design is done, usually just how the home page would look like and then let the design continue from there xD
