Feature Ideas 🤔

I've most probably made the most useless iOS app ever 😜. It's a prank app which only plays a sad trombone sound to tell they screwed up or have just messed something up big. It was just a weekend project to play around with a new development environment.

However, I wanted to release it to the App store but as expected the submission got rejected due to its limited functionality ("Guideline 4.2 - Design - Minimum Functionality"). Now I'm thinking about adding some more features to get the thing into the store and I was wondering if you guys may have some ideas to improve on the user experience.

The app is currently available on expo.io (https://expo.io/@matchilling/sad-trombone) and TestFlight (https://testflight.apple.com/join/vTCU0lYD) ~ app screenshots can be found on the app landing page (https://www.sadtrombone.fun/).

Haha yes welcome to the world of App Store rejection! I am also facing similar rejections

One idea I have is to make a list of sad sounds. Why stop at sad trombone? What about sad trumpet or sad moose or sad grandma? Ok the last one might not work but you can likely find more open commons sound clips, or pay a dollar for some.

Hi Julia, thanks for your feedback. Yeah, that was actually something I was thinking of as well. I'll have a look if I can find some more interesting stock sounds.
