FeatureAsk: Solicit feature requests from your users in an organized manner

Greetings IH fam,

I'd like to introduce you to FeatureAsk.com!

I’ve always been bothered by how there’s no good place to ask for new features you’d like to see in the products you use. So, I’m building one! On FeatureAsk.com you can post (guess what? -), Feature Asks!, for the products you use by simply going to that product’s page. You can also vote/comment on asks posted by other people. Finally, if a page for the product of your interest doesn’t exist, you can just easily create one.

However, for the IH crowd my intention is to draw attention to the other use-case: as product owners, you can just as easily use FeatureAsk to organize all feature asks for your product in one place, and let your users know you care about their asks by engaging with them.

As product owners you’ll be able to claim the FeatureAsk page for your product, which at the moment lets you:

• Get (optional) email notifications for whenever a new ask is posted for your product
• Create custom tags that can be assigned to the asks posted on your product’s page, and
• Mark the status for asks on your product page (‘In Progress’, ‘Under Review’ etc)

I’ve ideas about many other features I could build for FeatureAsk’s product owners, like:

• Get a notification on Slack whenever someone posts new feature asks & integration with other similar apps
• Ability to export all FeatureAsks & comments for your product etc.

But I’d love to get some feedback from product owners interested in using FeatureAsk for their products first.
