Feedback about my first own product!

Hi Indie Hacers, I'm New here

I build website called Vote Learn to help learner with 4 things:

1- find the best recommended tutorials, courses, books.
2-find blogs and social accounts to follow.
3- find E-learning communities to join.

    I like the idea.

    I think it still needs some work on how the information is organized. At the moment you have topics in the main column, and other content in the right, but probably they all could go in the same main column. Something to explore.

    Also, there are some quick wins in the landing page, but take this with a grain of salt, I'm by no means a designer or anything, just my subjective feedback.

    • There's a search box already, so the one in the nav is not needed
    • The subnav might not even needed and/or could be left aligned
    • The copy could get rid of "Best Recommended" as we can assume the results are already the best and that's why you're recommending them.
    • Could use a different color on that copy
    • The main column you have "[ Programming ] topics" but what you're displaying are ...already topics right? So, why not just "Programming". Also a larger font could help to visually navigate
    • In the right, the box could layout things differently I don't have an example for that.

    For the rest of the topics here's a screenshot with the recommendations applied.

        I was basically trying to remember things from their videos when I was providing feedback :P

        Btw the mobile version looks right in point :)

          Thanks, I looked at "refactoringui" they have alot of useful tutorials, I will add them to Votelearn... What do you think about tutorials page? Did you checked it?
