Hi @dbustac, I like how simple it is! Few things, I didn't know what OWB stood for until I scrolled back up and figured it out. I think it's confusing because the name is only in the image, not in text anywhere and not in your URL. I think it's still a bit vague on what it will be, I think a good screenshot would support your explanation at the bottom. 20% off what? Listing the price would be nice I think.

Not sure why, but it doesn't seem fully ready, maybe cause the site is so simple? I think something like "Not enjoying the content in the first week? Get your money back" something like a free trial or money back guarantee would be cool.

Here's my post for my feedback, thanks!: https://www.indiehackers.com/post/good-feedback-for-good-feedback-a2dc877e4f

      Hi Matt,

Thanks for your feedback. Really appreciate it!

I really liked your page. I think it's quite clear and informative. I also liked the design and the images you included.

The only thing I think you should work on is making your title and subtitle stronger. Bolder. More aggressive.

"Get anonymous team feedback in a private slack channel" is a feature, not a benefit. How's that gonna help my team or company? What's the biggest problem you're trying to solve with Incognito? I think you should probably address those kinda questions as early as possible.

      Hope it helps, bro.

      Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas to you too! Thanks for the feedback, definitely something to think about. I agree I'm focusing on the feature not the benefit. The what not the why really...

I like the simplicity of it. When I’m reading the header before scrolling, I’m thinking what will writing better help me do? Why do I need it? Write better in order to ___?

Maybe something more specific of what you will gain by becoming a better writer.

    Cheers!

      Hi Ben,

      Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Your page is remarkable. I'm no marketing expert, but to me it looks amazing. Great job!!!

My only suggestion would be to include the word "preserve" or "preservation" somewhere in the title or subtitle. I know you mention it below the fold, but I feel like above the fold you put too much emphasis on telling their stories and not enough on "preserving" them.

      That's it, man.

Good luck and happy holidays :)

Thanks, I appreciate the notes! Happy Holidays 🍻

    Here's mine: https://webscrapers.co/ what's your website?

    1. 1

      Hey man,

      My website is: https://betterwriting.carrd.co/

Here are some of my thoughts on yours. Just keep in mind that I'm not a developer so I don't really understand the product or your value proposition.

      • your logo looks too small and even a little bit blurry
      • I feel like the "code" image is way bigger than the "output" image. I'd suggest adjusting their sizes to make them more even
      • your headline sounds odd grammatically. I think it should go "With Web Scrappers now you can..." instead of "With Web Scrapers you can now..."
      • in this sentence you repeat the phrase "slow laptop": "You have a slow laptop? Great! Whether you have a slow laptop you can still get fast compilation and outputs, and what's more..". I'd suggest saying something like "You have a slow laptop? No worries! Using Web Scrappers you can still get fast compilation and outputs. You just need an internet connection".
      • I'm not sure if you really need to mention this: "Icons made by Freepik from www.flaticon.com"

      Hope it helps, my friend.

      Good luck!

thanks, but seems like your website has errors and I can't review them? - https://prnt.sc/w9nfsk

Love it Daniel! As you said, missing social proof. I'd also consider removing the first name field. Make the ask simpler!

Next, I'd hyperlink to David Perell's Twitter as indirect social proof.

I didn't get right away that OWB stood for online writing bible. You could make the connection clearer by saying the product's name more often, or including OWB in the form CTA maybe.

    Any feedback on birdybots.com?

    1. 2

Thank you, my friend. Really appreciate your feedback.

I'm taking notes of all your suggestions and will take them all into account for the next iteration of the page.

As for Birdy Bot's landing page, I really, really like it.

Love the bold analogy you guys used for the headline. It makes me think the goal of the product is to create long-lived, timeless content. Is that your goal, though?

Also, love the palette of colors you chose.

I have a couple of suggestions:

      • I don't really understand what you mean by "curate Twitter" in the sentence below the signup form
      • I'd consider changing "build a following" for "build" or "grow an audience". For some reason I feel like "a following" is an outdated marketing word, but I'm probably biased lol.
      • One of the things I wondered when I saw the CTA was "ok, but when are y'all releasing it? when am I getting access?" I know it's not definitive yet, but having an approximate date could help, I think.

      Hope my feedback is helpful.

      Looking forward to your launch!

      Happy holidays :)

        Great stuff Daniel! Thanks!

Clean site, but I get turned off by having the form right at the top before I know what its for.
I also didn't understand what OWB was till I scrolled up and had to look at the title again.
20% off....? Almost sounds like bait if we don't know what it's priced at.
That's all I got, hope it helps!

Cool! Let's do it. Excited to hear your thoughts on VenturesList

    Here's what I (newbie) thoughts:

    1. Missing social proof (you already aware with that)
    2. Missing "why" things. It's not clear for me what will I get if I subscribe to your blog. Will I able to write SEO article, review product article or will I able to increase my blog visitors up to 100% or something else? Make it clearer will be helpful I guess
    3. I didn't know what OWB is until I looked at your logo. I think u should consistent with the name

That's all from me hopefully it will be helpful for you :)

I have an upcoming SaaS, it's still an idea and I want to validate it first before start the development. If you mind please take a look on it: https://www.producthunt.com/upcoming/rocket-popup

      Hi Shalhan,

Thanks for taking the time to review my page and share your thoughts,

These are my thoughts on yours:

      • It's not clear exactly what it is that you're building.
      • Signup form is below the fold (I've read that having it above the fold increases conversation rates, and it kinda makes sense that it does)
      • I don't understand what you mean by "less code skill". Do I need to know how to code or not? If I do need to know how to code, what do I need to know? I'd suggest making that clearer
      • I think you should increase the size of the image, it looks too small
      • A lot of people (myself included) hate pop-ups. I, for instance, find most of them annoying and spammy. I think it would be cool if you help people build high-converting pop-ups that at the same time are not spammy
      • I think you could play a little bit with the CTA. Why don't you try something like "start converting" or "convert more" instead of the classic "subscribe"?

    Here is mine https://betterwriting.carrd.co/
I know I'm still missing: social proof and images of the product.

    Anything else I should add/change/improve?

Sounds good. What's your landing page? Mine is https://flurly.com

Really liked yours. The demo was particularly awesome.

My only suggestion is try to make it more playful. Even though I liked the minimalistic aesthetics, I feel like it is a little bit dry.

I think there are two things you can experiment with:

      1. your image -- I understand you wanna emphasize that sellers retain 99% of the money, but there might be a more colorful or creative way to convey that
      2. your CTA -- "get started" is too conventional. I liked "start selling" better. You could come up with another one along those lines.

      Good luck!
