Hello indie hackers
Please review hexalearn.io
I will appreciate your feedback.
Context:
In Singapore, schools are being closed down due to the Covid-19 situation. Teachers and students are now being forced to interact remotely, and there have been reports about how teachers are struggling with using tech as an extension to provide long-distance education. Therefore the product is a simple solution to this problem for Maths teachers – learning platform is built into worksheets to allow self-directed learning. The product is still in beta stage and trying to find product-market fit.
Hey there, what a thoughtful product! (I used to teach math 🤓)
My one point of feedback is to revisit the copy and make sure it all speaks directly to teachers, since they're the ones you want to sign up.
Starting with the headline: "Learn Singapore Maths Anytime and Anywhere"
That sounds like a good value proposition to a motivated student, but for a teacher it might be more compelling to say something like "Deliver self-paced worksheets and video tutorials to your maths students"
Beyond that, as soon as you're able to get a testimonial from a teacher, be sure to put it on the site. Just a quick quote about how the product was easy to use, or saved time, or popular with their students.
Hope that was helpful; LMK if you want to chat more
Hey man, thank you for the feedback. I really appreciate that.
You rightly pointed out that it is the teachers whom I want to sign up eventually. I will think about your feedback and conduct an A/b test.
😀
I am from hong kong originally so i understand the pain you are solving.
I would try to understand what parents or student would say or do when math becomes easy
what is the end results that they would have
Is how much less time they spend on homework?
And what makes it easier and fun maybe?
What are the students/parents craving for?
Thanks @laurellau! Really appreciate your feedback!
