Hi Fellow IHs,
Would love to get some feedback on my landing page. Good, bad and the ugly, especially the latter two. :)
https://list.app/
TIA!
Nice, clean ask for feedback always respect founders putting their work out there. As someone running a clothing brand (Slushy Noobz Merch), I know how valuable early landing page feedback is for clarity and conversions. Will check it out and share thoughts best of luck refining it. Click here to more info https://slushynoobz-merch.com/.
So first landing page impressions...
I'm sorry but it felt strangely 'spammy'. I think that there is too much going on during the initial load. The gif on the right, the changing headline, the cookie pop-up... The 'no sign-up required' text in the sign up button is probably not necessary.
I would probably make the cookie pop-up stick to the very bottom and in a thinner, longer container. You could also have a delay on the cookie pop-up of 15-20 seconds.
I like the idea a lot. Design could be upgraded.
Thank you. I think I see what you mean by 'spammy.' Too many moving parts as you noted. The gif helps with quick demo so I think I'll keep that but get rid of the changing headline and delay the cookie pop-up like you suggested. 👍🏽
dang, cool product!
how's the growth been? what's the #1 use case?
Thanks!! Growth's been kinda slow. But I haven't been pushing it that much since there's still stuff to fix and polish.
Use case is for anyone who wants to share list of things other may find interesting. Being able to pick items from another list into your own is a biggest selling point.
E.g. I can pick movies I might like from your "top movies" into my own "movies to watch" list.
I'm thinking influencers might be good target for the app.
very cool. makes sense!
First thoughts:
Thanks for the feedback. This is helpful. Can't do much about material design stuff :) but will work on the other stuff.
Got lucky with the domain. It was expiring when I started looking for a domain so watched it until it became available.
You're welcome.
That's a really nice strategy for buying the domain! How did you find out that it was expiring? Asking for a friend … aka myself. :D
I was checking the whois records. E.g. https://domains.google.com/registrar/search/whois/list.app
That's smart. I didn't know it displayed the expiration date. Thanks a lot! :)
