Feedback for my landing page
by
Imran Khan
https://syncy.net/
I like the idea of Syncy, gathering feedback to validate a startup idea early on is definitely very important.
Visiting the landing page on Desktop, it appears a little dull because it misses colorful accents. I would experiment with switching the background and the font color. Most of the font should probably be black with a blue accent for the most important statements.
Visiting the landing page on mobile feels very squeezed lacking vertical whitespace. This also applies to the Desktop version to some extent.
Most importantly, though, I am missing a clear statement about the benefit that Syncy provides to customers (i.e., having a pool of users from the customer's target audience and connecting the customer to those users). Currently, the landing page only states the problem (i.e., "It's hard to get conversations with target users to validate your startup idea."), what solution Syncy provides (i.e., "Customer conversations on demand"), and how this solution works (i.e., "Book a half-hour sync over Zoom with a target user."). However, the landing page misses saying why Syncy solves this problem (i.e., "Instant customer discovery"). I would focus on this and would refrain from stating too many technical details (i.e., Zoom as video call software and exact duration of the video call) since this may vary depending on the target user and the customer needs.
Very great suggestions. Thanks! We'll get to fixing these.
To begin with, I'm not a fan of commenting landing pages without conducting a research. On my Twitter I described the kind of research I usually do (just in case).
Still I like how clear the idea is described on the page. Also, the FAQ section looks good to me and is built to allay any last doubts.
I just surprised that founders pay $25, and a target user receives exactly this amount. This makes me think about how your economy works and why you do this.
Also, I'd suggest to polish a bit the text on the first screen. From my point of view, adding some more accents and combining pieces of texts that are connected by their sense in groups would work for better perception.
Hope it helps! Good luck!
You are correct. We are not taking any money yet. Later down the road, we may take some percentage commission but for now, we are just validating the process so not worried about money.
Thanks for your feedback!
Interesting product. And it seems like a product you can launch relatively small and test out.
Now I'm sitting back with 2 "issues" after going through your landing page.
Thanks for the feedback!
Also, would love to have you as a target user. You have an interesting background. Founders would love to talk to you.
