[Feedback] Looking for tips and feedback on my side project's landing page

I built and designed this app to bolster my mobile portfolio but I use it quite a lot myself and it has a handful of users https://www.paperback.ink

On Android, much of the text is covered by the phone image

I'll fix the mobile layout, slipped passed me. Thanks!

Greetings! How about making phone on the right animated? You can show how the application works. I think it will be more obvious to your users.

Thanks I will do that for sure.

    Two things I noticed:

    1. as others pointed out, the landing page doesn't look good on mobile, which is important since it's a mobile product
    2. I'm not sure why I need an offline content reader. what's problem this solves? Who is it for? Your copy says a lot about what it is, but doesn't tell me why I'd want it and what the benefits are. Does it help me get rid of mobile ads?

Thanks for the feedback, I've since fixed the mobile layout. I made a lot to update in the iOS app itself and the marketing website hasn't really got the love it deserves.

As for the second point, you may not need one but I believe plenty of people find them useful. Yes it would remove ads as well as allow you to save articles for later without an internet connection, tag and categorise them and even listen to them using the device's built in text to speech feature. I will work on improving the copy.

Cool. those are some great benefits of the product. I think you could reword some of the copy to emphasize what the user gets with the product. so instead of saying "Text to speech" you could say "Listen to articles instead of reading them". or "Turn any article into an audiobook".

Instead of saying "Robust tagging system" you could say "Tag and categorize articles for easy organization" or something like that.

One other thing I noticed: The header text works better as a subtitle and the subtitle works better as a header: "Tame the unreadable web, categorize and read content offline." is WHY someone would want this product, it's the main benefit they get from it. whereas "Paperback the offline content reader for Web and iOS." is more like the HOW. Basically the header text should be the main benefit / value proposition and the subtitle should explain how the product delivers that.

Thanks for the detailed feedback! I really appreciate it and will implement it. You can probably tell I'm more dev-focused than marketing / content ect so this is all new to me.

Thanks, thats a really good point. Would you mind less if the phone part was a video?
