Hey,
I've been seeing lately lots of people doing productized services and I really like the idea and the benefits for everyone involved so I decided to launch my own as well ( icebyte.io ).
Would love to get some feedback on the landing page.
Is the value proposition clear?
If you were looking for a dev — would you subscribe?
Anything else that you think is missing?
If you're doing web dev services — please let me know what worked / didn't work for you when you started out.
Hi Edi! The value proposition is clear when I got into it. Although it was not very clear in the first 10-30 seconds.
Noticed that the main value proposition line (first page, header) says nothing about people and image at the right shows logos of dev stack. This creates an impression that IceByte is a framework or some development environment. And only after I've read small line over header and proposition at the second page, I got that this is about finding the outsource developer. Maybe you could create more focus on human side of your proposition at the first page.
Also it seems that animations framerate is bit low (maybe it's just my laptop)
Yea this is interesting because my thinking was to make iceByte feel more like a SAAS product that you can just try it out and not feel any obligations towards me if you want to unsubscribe if that makes sense.
Maybe I'm wrong about this but since I'm currently the only dev available — If I were to add photos of myself and some about ( the human side ) then the site might be interpreted as some freelancer portfolio which I don't want.
The other option would be stock or AI generated photos which I also don't really like.
