Feedback on a landing page for productized service ( Web dev )

Hey,

I've been seeing lately lots of people doing productized services and I really like the idea and the benefits for everyone involved so I decided to launch my own as well ( icebyte.io ).

Would love to get some feedback on the landing page.

Is the value proposition clear?
If you were looking for a dev — would you subscribe?
Anything else that you think is missing?

If you're doing web dev services — please let me know what worked / didn't work for you when you started out.

    Hi Edi,
I think the website looks good but it might need some more social proof like client testimonials, case study, etc.

    Best of luck.

Unfortunately all the feedback that I got is in the Accenture internal system as all those companies I worked at through them and I forgot to copy it when I left.

I could try to write up some short case study for erowan.app, thanks for the idea.

I also recently launched my landing page and BOY did you do a good job optimizing this one. It looked/felt very smooth and responsive on my phone.

I would suggest adding a “go to the top” button on mobile and, answering the “would you use it” question, I feel like the only thing it lacks is more testimonials.

Even though Icebyte has some very impressive clients it may be weird for the reader that none of those left a positive review or at least that the review is not displayed

Hey, sorry didn't see I had new comments here. Thanks for the kind words, glad you liked it :)

Yea the testimonials part, those companies were not clients of IceByte — I worked in them full time remotely through Accenture so all the feedback I got Is left in Accentures internal system unfortunately so have to start from scratch in that regard.

Hi Edi, the landing page is cool (my taste) and I think it clearly delivers the message.

If I may instead go into the business model, how do you plan to address the challenge "you're one person divided among N customers, how many hours will you actually dedicate to my project(s)?"

I'm asking bc we were thinking about launching something similar but handling in an efficient way different sizes of development tasks is not an easy thing to do.

Good question yea — I went with the philosophy of "Build something that doesn't scale first" and I agree that this probably not going scale much but even 2-3 clients would be almost 5x my previous salary and that should be doable. Building a SAAS project to $10k+ MMR is much more difficult I think.

As for the hours and efficiency — I don't think it matters as much because they're not paying hourly so as long as the work gets done in reasonable amount of time — should be good.

Tip: sometimes people don't want to buy a six pack beer they just want a beer. :)
