I recently launched https://usecomponent.com -- a free, no-code visual workflow builder that lets you create forms and connect them with other useful applications, like DocuSign for contracts, Stripe for payment, Hubspot for marketing, and so forth.
Context/Why I'm building Component:
I've built several projects where multi-step workflows for simple tasks like payments and scheduling were needed. While Zapier is a great solution for non-visible workflows that can be separate, I'm primarily building this for people who also want their frontend covered (i.e. a white-labeled experience where the user can move through multiple steps in one go).
I have a Discord server here if anyone is interested in jamming on no-code/low-code tools/needs as well: https://discord.gg/yvPpB7HE.
Thanks folks!
nice tool quite useful even with current integrations. Hopefully it should pick up! what acquisition channels have you tried so far? twitter, reddit, fb? anything else?
Thank you so much -- means a lot! For now I've been trying different approaches to explaning the product -- either focusing on the workflow part or how we can help companies create more interactive experiences in forms (a company I'm chatting with wanted to allow users to connect their crypto wallets in a form).
I think the hard part is understanding who I should cater to first and with what part of the product.
I've posted here and on a few subreddits. Thinking of putting it out on Twitter asap :)
Been considering Hacker News too -- any thoughts on when it's best to post there?
you can search for best time to post on hackernews in hackernews and you will get few blog posts just choose the recent recommendation.
You may also get rude comments on HN like how its different from zapier/ifttt or some other product or whats the big deal it can be made in a day and so on just ignore non-constructive criticism.
There are lot of people who are not active in comments but will see your product and gitve it a try.
Certainly -- I'll give it a go once we have a guide up. Thanks for the encouragement! :)
The value proposition looks awesome! Your home page clearly tells the story and shows off different implementations.
One thing I would add on the home page as you've mentioned "our customers switched from .. to .." is a section with Customer stories where you show how one of your customers benefited from your solution. It would appeal to me reading the effects for them.
Well done, keep hacking Bani!
That's a great idea -- just launched last week so will try to get a short testimonial sometime this week. Thanks a lot, Daniël!!
