Feedback on a new SEO tool I'm building?

I would like to ask for your feedback on a new SEO tool I'm building. It's a tool for quickly finding internal link opportunities - internallinksfinder.com. Any feedback or insight on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you :)

I find it interesting but I have 0 clue how to use it. That's my feedback

Youu can definitely add some explanation on top what it does and why it is useful. Looks good on mobile!

Thanks! And yea, lesson learned :) @tdermendjiev Hope you're projects are going well.

Same suggestion as everyone else, I'm just not really sure what I'm supposed to do

Sound idea, but I think recent updates to Googles algorithm (BERT, T5 & MUM) make anchor text less relevant than it once was. Link building itself is still a perfectly valid strategy though.

    1. 1

Hmm, I'll have to dig into those updates more. At the very least it helps users navigate through pages more :)

I recently wrote a blog post about the update which might be useful:

        https://www.viko.co.uk/blog/google-mum-update-seo/

in the context of link building, Google are basically using their artificial intelligence to understand what content is all about, instead of relying on titles, descriptions and link text as they once did.

Please don't take my comments negatively - I will support any indie hacker who tries to do something new 👏

I apprecaite the honesty. And I'll check out the article. Thank you.

not sure what to do? You should have a splash tutorial page for when the browser loads.

    1. 1

Yea, I need to add one :)

May I ask what is the tech stack that you used to make the product?

    1. 1

      NextJS, Tailwindcss, Vercel :)

I like the concept a lot, but I think it's not so intuitive. Do you have any video/screen recordings showing how to use the tool properly?

        1. 1

@kulial Yea I feel you. And no, not at the moment. But I definitely should. What are you working on??

          1. 1

I'm working in a marketing company as an SEO account manager, that's why I thought your idea is cool because I actually could use something like this.

            1. 1

Nice! Yea, I plan on using it for my day job as an SEO. But I get that it's still pretty clunky. I'll let you know if I make any big breakthrough on it if you want :)

I am building also a SEO tool. What's your plan at the financial level with such a tool? Do you plan a paid offer?

    1. 1

@nico3233 Nice! How far are you with building it? And when's the launch date? For me, I didn't get to working on how to monetize yet.

I'd recommend throwing it on madepublic.io for more reach!

    1. 1

that's gotta be the slowest most laggy/confusing website evah!

      1. 1

Lol, it's a work in progress

  9. 1

sounds interesting, but there is no explanation of how to use the tool and the benefits. Even for testing purposes, better to add some content to explain a little bit

    1. 1

Good idea @Tim12. I added a "start here" button at the bottom of the site but I should probably move it up. Appreciate the feedback!
