Hi! I'm looking for some feedback for my app SongRiffer, an app for musicians and songwriter. I'd love to hear from you about what you think of the design, and even more if you think the app and its purpose are clear to understand and well explained.
You can check it out here: https://songriffer.com/
Thanks a lot!
I'm on Linux now but I'll try to test the software later.
I think I understand everything perfectly from your landing page. It looks nice and the theme fits well. I like the color theme especially.
A video with sound (!) explaining the program would be a nice addition. It's crucial to use all of the potential user's senses.
One more thing: user testimonials are a must, too.
Thanks a lot for your feedback ! I admit videos are a bit rushed because I always forget to do them, but it's a good idea to do a good one with sound, thanks
This text block would be better as a bulleted list: "Describing your riff is what will make your creation process faster in the future. Add tags, rate your riff, Songriffer will try to calculate the tempo to help you. Once everything is set and your library is well organized, you will no longer be looking at a meaningless list of files with obscure names. All your ideas and riffs are accessible and easy to browse."
and this doesn't seem like a feature. I still have to listen to my tracks. I'm still blindly listening. But design wise I'd shorten the headline to "Speed Up Songwriting" and then leave the body to explain how and why.
"Preview your riffs and speed up your songwriting
You can listen to your riffs through SongRiffer to know directly what they sound like. Your songwriting process will no longer be interrupted by blindly listening to dozens of riffs, you can directly hand pick the one matching your current composition, and know instantly if they can fit or not."
The purpose of your product is clear on the landing page. And as a musician, I admit this is a very nice thought!
Your C2As are clear and well placed.
Your features though are a bit tiring because you're using flashy and repetitive words to make the reader more excited about your product. I think that it's best to be as objective and on-point as possible on the features list.
Yeah I tried to include a lot of words for SEO but I can see how it can be tiring for real readers. Thanks a lot for taking the time to check it out!
Hi, what is your business model ?
No business model (for now), it's a free app and I'm not monetizing it for now.
