Feedback on devpainless - I will review your landing page too πŸ™ƒ

Hello people, I am the owner of devpainless, a software agency with a simple way to develop things, we already get some clients and are planning to change our website, add some testimonials and even a video.

How do you think I could improve the design?
How do you think I could improve the content? Make clear the benefits for or customers?

In exchange, I will review your landing page too πŸ™ƒ

I'm having my morning coffee before work and looking at your landing page.

I don't know whether the full screen hero video offers any benefit to me as a user. It makes it less clear to read any of the texts on your prime landing page real estate, though.

The floating cookie policy thing is painful. Clicking it opens some random page in Notion, which seems even more painful. By quickly looking at the Privacy Policy, I can't see my main question answered: If I send you my design and you implement that as a web page, who will own the copyright to that work? I would ass-u-me that I own the copyright, but nothing in your Privacy Policy actually says that.

    Back to the website.

There is no need for those Benefit icons to be animated. All they do is distract me from reading your benefits. Would you prefer me to watch animated things move in your website, or sell me your product? It's very hard to do both.

In the Scope of work area, it's confusing how you are using yellow buttons to represent your used technologies, but those buttons are actually not clickable. You shouldn't use design elements which look like they are clickable (i.e. buttons) when they are not clickable.

I really like how you mention that the website you did has a 100/100 performance score. I wish you would highlight the speed of your delivered UI's more, it's a good selling point.

In the All features section, bright yellow icons on a white background are fairly painful to look at because there is not enough contrast between the colors.

In the Pay for what you need section, the pricing is confusing. In your Benefits section, you say you will do a two business day delivery, but in this section, you say the normal delivery time is 5 days and faster delivery will cost extra. That makes me feel like you just tricked me in your Benefits section. If you pitch that you can deliver in 2 days, it should be clearly stated that it's an additional feature that costs extra. Don't make additional paid features sound like they are included in the base price.

I find the Pay for what you need form a bit limiting as it only allows me to link to my design. What if I have the design as a file in my local computer and I want to send it to you? This form doesn't let me do that. Are you really willing to lose a lead because of this?

There is an awkward white space in "( Figma".

I would consider myself an actual potential lead for you. I run a software company and I hire outsourced web developers all the time. If I would to consider your service for myself, I would need to see two things in your main pitch:

    1. More example of your work. There is a single portfolio item. One. That's not enough to convince me. Even a broken clock will show the right time twice per day.

    2. Who are you? As an employer, I don't want to work with nameless, faceless robots. I want to work with people. People who have real names, backgrounds, skills, stories.

Relating to the second point, my main question in that regard would be where are you based at.

I think this is an interesting idea and I actually like it quite a bit. With some more polishing, I think this could be very good.

In an anonymous tab worked, I think some extension of mine can be blocking your content from appearing

Hey @harshvijay, thanks for the review, but for me don't load the page, only the comments, the only thing appears to me is "Loading your first experience. Might take a moment...", this is for the others reviews too
