Feedback on idea (dayatwork.info)? A way to explore what people do at work across industries.
I am creating a website which provides a way for people to explore what people do at work across industries around the world.

Work is different across industries and can be learnt only from people in those industries
Before I started building the application I asked a couple of questions through a survey.
Some specific Questions for feedback
- I would like to know whether you would be interested or curious to sign in and read?
- What kind of features would make you share or talk about this product among your friends/coworkers etc?
- Who do you think could be a potential target audience?

I find the topic quite interesting and would love to have more information about the work other people are doing.
I wanted to take a look at your site. But I would only register by email (not twitter, not google, not facebook). I wanted to send you this feedback after browsing your site, but there is no contact information. So I had to google this thread again.

It's an interesting idea. It's not something I would personally pay for, I think most people that would want to know, would google or youtube 'what is the day to day job like of..'
However, this could actually be a useful resource for high schools and universities - I think there's a big problem in education where you basically have no idea what the job you've been studying for years for, will actually be like.
I think you could partner with schools, school boards, universities to share some of this data. Potentially also partner with big job sites that provide general employment resources.

What kind of features would make you talk about this product or share this product?
I think if you had insights or profiles on some interesting occupations (e-sports players?) that would quite share-able, or insights/statistics about particular job categories - like which IT jobs deliver the most happiness vs difficulty, that type of content would be interesting to share.
