i'm really into the design and the art direction of your site. it feels nice to browse around on it. playing with the html / css is fun.
is the goal that folks will have fun designing a shirt and then get attached enough to buy it? kind of hard to imagine myself doing that, because it kinda feels like i'm still just putting text on a shirt.
something i could imagine getting excited about is using the html / css to replicate designs from popular sites like twitter, wikipedia, indiehackers, etc and then fill them with fun, personal content & inside jokes.

At the moment the experience is pretty much how you put it. But the vision is to have user pages to show off the designs a user has made. We want to encourage creators on to the site to show off their design and coding skills and share with their network, who would be the potential purchasers in this case.
I love your suggestion about parodying popular sites. I did something similar playing around with designs based on funny hacker news comments. We've also spoken about doing a tweet shirt. I think we’re flexible enough to support all of this.
Personal content is a good one as well. A potential feature we have been considering is to add templating to the html that can be populated via query string parameters. This will allow content to be populated from the URL. We are thinking we could build a tool on top of this where you can enter you username for a site - we were thinking github to begin with - and it could generate a bunch of shirts based on your user data.
It's very clear what the product does. It's not immediately to me what it enables that sites like Teespring can't. What kind of a shirt might I be able to create? It might be good to ad some info about awesome/different things this enables one to do.

But is it only intended for dev people then ? I guess you have to understand a little bit html css ?
Non dev customer can be lost and would expect a website like spreadshirt or something where they can just drag and drop a picture, or write a text and click on a font from a drop list.
