Feedback on my Cover design for PH launch ( Chrome App)

Hey folks, guys I have been developing a free chrome App and I have designed these covers photos for the PH launch page, ( not a designer myself, you can probably see that in the designs )

This extension basically displays quotes from various indie hackers on the chrome new tab. Is these cover pic able convey that properly or do I need to get a designer ?
