Hi everyone! I've been on the job hunt on and off throughout my career and learned a lot about the process of applying and getting interviews. Part of the challenge includes catering your resume to a role rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. Even if the position you're applying for is the same (e.g. Marketing Manager) different companies may have different expectations or definitions for a role. So your "marketing manager" resume may not be a fit even though you would be a great candidate!
I put together a free service, flavoredresume.com for users to take a job post they're interested in, their current resume, and submit it so the resume can be catered to the job post. This way you're a closer match for the job description and more likely to get past the recruiting Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
I've run a few tests with my own resume and friends' but I'd love to get more feedback!
