Feedback on my new product: an "emotion log"

Hi all!

I need feedback on the product I built this last week. I started as a way to learn how a serverless app work, but I'm pretty happy with the final results. Now I wonder if it is a good product.

    Hi Rodrigo,
I already use a mood-tracking app called Daylio. I am a big fan of almost all of Daylio's features so I recommend copying them on some things like activity tracking and ability to add lots of custom moods. I paid for Daylio premium, so there's at least one sample of people paying for an effective app in this space :D
One negative of Daylio is that it is phone-only, which makes actual journaling pretty painful. I only write one or two phrases rather than full sentences and paragraphs. Being on desktop is an advantage for you here!
I think the best two benefits for mood-tracking are seeing your mood history over the past few weeks so that you have data on how you "actually" feel, and seeing statistical correlations between activities on given days and your mood. As you build out your site it would probably be good to highlight these.
I think there's a bit of a mindfulness movement happening which can really help apps in this mood tracking space. Best of luck!

      Thanks a lot, @nlowell
I read a lot of Daylio reviews at Play Store; starting to implement a few of these.

Another advantage I noticed being a web app is that it does not need a backup when you change phones. I saw a few complaints about problems with the backup (which is basically outsourced integrating with Google Drive).

Right now I am working on a version of the "activities" based on emojis. I designed the emotion tracker to naturally form a chart when sufficient data is available. Then I will work on better filters.

Do you mind if I email you later when I have more features on it to get more feedback?

        Sure, I don't mind.

FWIW backup is a very low priority for me and wouldn't differentiate two products. Might not be worth your time, but I'm just one data point.

    Well,
I would wonder if somebody would use it for $3 :) I can do it for free just creating a Google sheet...

      Fair point @Zencentric

What would you pay for in a service like that?

Well, honestly... nothing. Probably because I don't see any value in recording my mood...
