Hi All!
I launched my first side project, FIRE Stories, firestories.co. These are weekly interviews with people who've retired early, achieved financial independence, or are on their way to it.
As a follower of the FIRE (financial independence early retirement) movement, I found myself continually searching for stories on forums and blogs. There's a lot of tactical advice and discussions, but I'm more interested in the stories, background, mindset, etc.
I've just published 2 interviews (more are in the pipeline). I'd love your feedback on the idea, homepage, site. It's pretty barebones to start and plan to add more resources and data.
Hi, I think it's pretty good. The call to action is obvious.
I added some more detailed feedback here: https://ssybx8s9lyoxw33.unfaintapp.com/
That is a very cool app, and it's also cool that you provided useful feedback with it! :)
Thanks! I built it specifically with IH in mind. Typical process here involves seeing lots of out-of-context comments in an IH thread and switching back and forth between the landing page and the IH thread.
This is my attempt to try and solve that.
Side note: First time I've seen unfaintapp... super cool.
Thanks! See comment above, I built this specifically with IH in mind.
Thank you, monsiv. Your comments are spot on. Will take action on those.
No problem.
I think the concept is good: Pull in SEO traffic with the articles and then visitors signup.
You have to make this a podcast. Even if it's just you reading the article, it will help (a lot) drive organic traffic, also you'll have a whole new audience.
I also encourage you to listen to other hustle type of podcasts.
Hi Tim,
My team would love to help you with a constructive UI/UX feedback for your landing page. Just fill up your details here: http://draftss.com/getfeedback
Content seems solid and of great inspiration! I do think that the header part and the call to action is not big enough. I went directly to the content at the bottom without realizing the CTA.
Thank you - i toyed with the idea of cleaning up the hero image and moving email + cta below to make it stand out. I'll test this. 🙂
