Feedback on my website

Reimburse-It - Make reimbursements easy.

Can somebody give some feedback on my website? I hope everybody likes it! :)

You're heading in the right direction. Put in a few more iterations and you'll be golden!

It would help with the feedback if you tell us your background and how you built this landing page? Software engineer? Marketing person? Finance department? Did you build this page from scratch? Did you outsource it to a freelancer? Did you use a landing page template?

Main suggestion: Read an actionable book on copywriting. I use this famous one: https://copyhackers.com/get-it-now . You should put a lot of thought into the top section. There are only 25-30 words above the fold. They will decide if your visitor closes the browser tab or scrolls down. Focus on legibility and conveying the message. Guide the user from big bold headline, to smaller subhead, to the action button. There should be only one action button.

Here are my impressions and some things to fix:

Split-second impression? It burns my eyes. All I saw was intense orange. My eyes skipped the text and gravitated toward the source of the attention-grabbing orange.

Once my brain was done scanning the source of the orange and the picture of the woman, it was a bit of a struggle to read the text. The headline has poor contrast and legibility, and so do the cyan buttons. The blue is too intense for that white text. The use of a bold small font decreases legibility even further.

Normally, buttons leading to the log-in page are not placed in the middle of the hero section. That button should take you to the sign-up page instead. The "try for free" button should take the user to the sign-up page. There should be a log-in link next to it for existing users. People are accustomed to looking in the top-right corner of websites for log-in links / buttons.

    Headline: "Reimbursements Made Easy"

The headline is okay. I feel like it's rather generic and could pack more punch if worded more carefully.

Subhead: "Snap a photo of your receipts and claim from anywhere."

First half gets my attention (it sounds easy indeed). The second half is vague and leaves me wondering what exactly you provide and for whom.

The front page has some grammar problems in various places. Consider hiring a native speaker to fix the details.

    Hi there,

Thanks for sharing your site. Overall I like it. There are a few things that are nit picky. The screenshot of the app on the phone image is kind of off a little and I can see the edges of the overlay.

But having just launched my own landing page, and getting feedback, it seems you could have a stronger headline and sub headline to grab my attention and keep me reading.

The "spread the word" section also feels like it should be further down the page because I wouldn't spread the word until I learned a lot more about the product :)

Instead of "p.s." I would probably have a Title that says, "Public API Offered" because that's a great feature!!!
