I like the idea.
I'd try to make the purple color more subtle. Maybe something dark not too contrast from the background. I think it is a bit distracting as it is.
Also there's a bug (at least on mobile) when I go into one of the categories and then hit back, I see the template code {{...}}

I don't have plan on making money with this site atm. I like creating mini side projects and not to worry too much about making money from them.
Maybe I'll add carbonads to covering hosting fee, but that's all.
As a developer myself this is pretty neat. I would suggest that you add a filter for the ode snippets, and some content explaining the purpose of the app. 😀
I find myself sometimes looking for a specific animation implementation but I find it hard to search within codepen.

Yes, I do organize items into categories but the menu is broken on mobile at the moment. Just fixed it.
I will add some content for explanation. I'd like to keep it minimal and practical.
