Feedback on our landing page before launch. 🙏

I think the page looks simple enough, clear and to the point. Few things to improve:

• It took me a while to understand what the app/tagline is about (description is a tad complex). What's self-reflection, and why it needs to be made simpler. IMHO your site title explains it way better, which isn't visible - "A better way to journal".
• Sorry I didn't know what is Holstee, so I'd drop attention to "Created by your friends at" in the headline, since I think the letter at the end is enough and pretty cool & personal.
• Would love to see a mobile app, much easier to journaling ;)

I was tempted to click the Holstee link in the first paragraph which seems like an early ejection for the entire landing page. I would remove so people can immediately focus on the product (unless this is intentional). You could also experiment having the signup form be a fixed footer type element https://cl.ly/e71ec80bcb36 vs early access buttons scrolling you to the bottom of the page (I think that's a matter of taste/if conversion numbers have something to say)

I really like that the fact you can see the product in action with the autoplay gifs and it could be worthwhile to add a start/stop function to these. Similar to https://www.soundslice.com/features/. I think it'd add to the calm-ness of the landing page which is part of the ethos.

With this type of product there is a great opportunity down the line to have the visitor begin trying the product on the landing page. I'm reminded of https://www.notion.so/product where you can immediately try the editing experience. I can imagine something similar that would be pretty powerful after your personal note at the end (or as the hero element first thing) that has the question of "How is your day going?" Visitors can start typing an answer and the trigger to signup is the "save entry" after they input their response.

Really good landing page. I love the gifs. I recommend you add more information regarding security.

You have nice explanations what and how the product works. But, when it comes to personal journals IMHO privacy is a big issue. You should put one more paragraph explaining how you will store/save the data entered and how you will protect user's privacy. And maybe about your GDPR compliance.

There is a typo in a paragraph:

Over time you can what areas of life are getting the most attention, and which may be worth investing more time or effort into.

@daverad touch at the end with the signatures which really contrasts flawlessly with the cartoon characters.

I like the LAF. But I think maybe it’s missing the “why” aspect. I’d expect that clearly drawing attention to the benefits of a reflection journal would be, well, beneficial :)
I usually try to think about these types of things from a story perspective, a hero’s journey, or start with why...

I’m sure it’s fine if you have someone land on the page that is already looking for this type of tool, but you’re not selling the benefits clearly enough “above the fold” to capture the uneducated or fence sitters.

I really like the clean landing page design. It reflects (no pun intended) what I would expect from a journal service.

The only thing that was a little weird was that the last GIF had quite a low frame rate - it's a small thing but I kind of just ignored the GIF because of that
