Feedback on our newsletters landing page?

some feedback —

1. the page was decently slow to load. made me want to click away
2. feeling pretty overwhelmed! there's a lot of text, an image, and an arrow telling me what to do

Simple and effective. I think you could take some inspiration from there to help you simplify your own newsletters landing page.

The very first thing I notice when accessing this landing page how slow your website is. It took many seconds to load and Google's website speed test tool gives it a failed score of 43/100 on performance. This is so slow, Google will penalize your website for the poor performance.

The second thing I noticed how odd the website's logo looks like. To be more exact, the logo itself looks okay, but it's placed so oddly. The top part of the logo looks like it is drawn outside of my browser's canvas area, like there is negative margin going on for some very odd reason.

In regards your actual landing page, I think it looks okay. I don't like how the mobile phone render is tilted in a weird angle, making it hard to read the text on the screen. This looks like a screenshot and the purpose of a screenshot is to show off your product. If that's the case, why would you put that in an awkward angle, so it's difficult to see? It's like you want to show off your product, but also don't.

The pitch for the newsletter sounds good to me.

It's bad UX that the first green text "Busy Techies" is not a link but the green text "one weekly email" is a link. It should be clear without moving the mouse cursor, what elements of your website are clickable. Using the same font effect (green text) for both links and non-links is confusing.
