Feedback → Product Changes
One thing I’m learning while building KeepOrCut:
If someone takes the time to give thoughtful feedback, actually use it.
I recently got some great feedback on the first version of KeepOrCut — especially around making the subscription calculations more realistic and useful.
So I made a few changes:
- Cancellation friction
Added a simple way to indicate whether a subscription is easy, moderate, or difficult to cancel.
Rather than turning this into another complicated score, I’m using it as context for the user’s decision.
- Estimated Value Ratio
The original “Value Ratio” could sound more precise than it really was.
Since the calculation depends on the user's own estimate of what a use is worth, I changed it to Estimated Value Ratio and reduced the unnecessary precision.
The 30-day check-in idea is interesting, and is something i am keeping in mind as potential next step
Still early, still experimenting.
But one thing I want to stick to:
If the feedback makes the product better, it should make its way into the product.as far as possible

Closing the loop on feedback is a huge advantage—people notice when their input changes the product. Making subscription calculations more realistic sounds especially valuable.
