Wow, this is an incredible article. Very well done.

My only critique was I wasn't sure where you were going with the article until the end. I like that you start with the story of Gordon Moore, and that hooked me into reading the rest. But it might benefit from a bit more of an intro to outline where you are going with the article.

However, that's a super minor point on a super interesting read!
