Feedback request: what's unclear or confusing on our new homepage?

https://www.deprocrastination.co/home

Hi everyone! Long time listener, first time poster.

I just made a significant update to our homepage - https://www.deprocrastination.co/home

I'd appreciate any feedback so that I don't build in vacuum.

  1. What's confusing or unclear?
  2. What would you change?

Thanks and have a great rest of the day!

Nice work and good idea, all seemed clear to me. A colleague of mine has been addicted to RescueTime for many years, which is similar.

I think some of the text could be shortened or made simpler. The 3 that struck me as most confusing were:

    • Unlearn being distracted in the morning (almost a double negative)
    • Start a timer and create without temptation (2 actions in one sentence)
    • Join our email list for the best, most practical tips and strategies for defeating procrastination. (best + most practical and then tips + strategies, and then 'defeating procrastination' which feels like a bit of a mouthful)

I was also a bit surprised by the up-sell block ('PRO (optional): become even more productive') and had to scroll back up to see that there was a free download link further up. Maybe add a big 'all this for free' block above?

Thanks a lot! I'll think about how to make it better.

    Hi Vita,

Love the addon idea, just installed it. I've been using a more basic blocker to date because I find myself drawn to check Twitter too often :(

The addon page was quite clear, but the courses offer I found confusing. It's not really clear how it works. Also, I would consider separating the products more. Maybe give the FF addon a different name.

      Hi Jeremy!

We did just separate them more, it used to be one homepage for both, will separate it further. Might rename ti to Re:focus or just Refocus, since that is the aim of it.

Btw, if you have any feedback later, shoot me a message.

      Thanks!
