Feedback requested: Build visual, in-app onboarding flows without code

Hey gang!

I've decided to quit stalling and finally just tear off the band-aid to release the project I have been building for the last few months. I'm looking forward to receiving feedback from you guys and hoping a few of you may be interested in trying it out for yourselves as beta testers.

One liner: Appflowz is no-code tool that lets you add beautiful user onboarding flows to your SaaS without a designer or a developer.

Problem/Background:

I started working on Appflowz after struggling with onboarding users for my last startup UserVox (rip).

One of our big challenges was that we had users who came from completely different industries and each segment was different in terms of how we needed to onboard users onto the app. So we needed a way to segment new users and guide them to different onboarding tracks as soon as they signed up.

I was inspired by the well designed post-signup flows that companies like Invision (see example), Autopilot (see breakdown), Codecademy (see example) used to segment new users and guide them to the right part of their app. These flows were highly visual, well designed, and delivered a first time user experience that is consistent with the rest of their application.

But building these kind of flows requires many hours of developer and designer resources to get right. That why you see many companies try to get by just sticking a generic survey tool like SurveyMonkey or Google Forms into their onboarding flow - which does not make a great first impression to brand new users of your painstakingly designed product.

So my goal was to make it easy for SaaS companies to create onboarding flows that look and feel like a native part of their app, without enlisting a developer or a designer.

So that's the goal behind Appflowz. Appflowz lets you quickly build visual, multi-step onboarding flows and launch them inside your app within minutes. You can get started quickly using pre-made templates or fully customize the colors, fonts, etc. to match your site. You can quickly add images from a library of free illustrations (unDraw) or add your own. About me: I am a solo founder and also run a small but successful online course business in the foreign language space. This is my third SaaS after Houdini (seed-funded, 2014-2015) and Uservox (bootstrapped 2019-2020).

Tech stack: I built Appflowz as a Vue SPA with a backend REST API built in Laravel 8 with Laravel Sanctum/Jetstream.

I am opening it up to beta users for the first time today, so looking forward to any and all feedback (please be gentle, lol), questions, ideas, etc.
