Feedback Requested - MAL/Goodreads for TV shows and movies
I use myanimelist and goodreads often but don't see many similar sites for TV shows (imdb comes close for movies). A quick google search later - there are a few (mybingelist, tvshowtime, trakt.tv, etc.) but don't quite capture the same spirit (and membership) as MAL or goodreads.
What do you guys think ? Is there a need here ?
Personally I use IMDB, I think the difficulty with a website like this is as soon as you don't have the tv show/movie I'm looking for I'll switch to the website that does and won't come back. I don't think I've ever had a case where a movie or TV show wasn't on IMDB.
I think that books are a little different from TV shows/Movies. It will takes me hours to read a book but a TV show or Movie I can watch in 30 mins and switch off if I don't like, the initial investment of my time is way lower compared to a book.
Normally for popular TV shows/movies there's a subreddit which kind of replicates the community that is found of Goodreads.
