Feedback Requested: On idea and product
Fellow Indie Hackers,
I am building https://www.bakestreet.co/ and launched the mvp past weekend.
Bakestreet is marketplace connecting home bakers and customers for custom home baked goods.
We have started with custom cakes.

Have you considered starting with a model that's not a marketplace (like cooperating with 1-2 bakeries and selling their products). Having to serve 1 market is hard enough, but 2 at the same time (with a marketplace) can be really difficult. I'd consider a model where I start with a service and eventually migrate to a marketplace.
That's a very good suggestion. I totally agree with you that bringing 2 at same time can be challenging.
I was able to recruit some top bakers who i will be onboarding in coming weeks and help them sell products.
Bakeries already have multiple channels to sell products but home bakers don't have. Thus, the approach.
