During due diligence, VCs trawl through Startup data trying to analyse it and figure out what's going on.
We've been selling a product to VCs that automatically analyses startup data (www.inate.ai), and generates Social Capital's "Magic 8-Ball" diligence report. VC analysts love it because it saves them a ton of painful work in Excel. We've had a load of them sign up, along with venture debt firms and accelerators
Question / feedback: as Founders, do you want to see how a VC will analyse you? i.e. should we sell this service direct to Startups?
Thanks for your feedback!
Would like to see what my company would look like from such a dashboard.
Companies being able to see what VCs are looking for/at would be great! Also knowing what issues are barriers to funding would be immensely useful.
Social Capital's "magic 8 ball" is also used by Tribe Capital. I've heard good things. I'd love to see how this thing works.
Yeah - Jonathan Hsu and a ton of former Social Capital people jumped to Tribe - they're doing great stuff there
