[Feedback wanted] Aspiry landing page

https://aspiry.co/

I'm looking for feedback for https://aspiry.co/, a product that I recently launched.

  • Is the offer compelling?
  • Thoughts on the design?
  • Anything else?

Thank you very much for taking the time to check it out and provide feedback!

Hey Chris. Will just share a couple of thoughts:

    • As already mentioned, first part of your site is too text heavy, you have nice graphics down below I would try to find the way on how to balance out text/graphics ratio better :)

    • As people rarely reach the end of the page, I would introduce your "Start free trial" CTA higher on the page too, like on Hero section, but that would also demand to redesign value proposition used there.

Overall I like the color palette used and the font choice here, good luck with your product and don't forget to have fun! :)

Thanks! Design is not my strong suit, so getting a compliment on the color palette and font choice from a designer like yourself is very nice! Btw, I checked out your Dribbble and really like your art style :)

I agree that with the current Hero section a CTA doesn't really fit there, but I will think about ways I can redesign that to include one. Thanks!

I enjoyed your price anchoring strategy very much :)

Firstly, your market is a crowded market, so you need to really differentiate yourself from others.

In terms of design, it looks nice but I couldn't find much visuals of what it looks like? Mostly, a lot of text. It doesn't parse so easily, even though it is nicely laid out.

The copy near the top doesn't make people feel good about themselves. "Do you set goals, but they rarely materialize? You know what you want. You write it down. You plan. Yet your dreams remain elusive. Why?". Basically, if you are in that situation, it makes you think "Oh sh..., I'm really f***ing up at this". You may even start thinking about the "why" by going through your last 12 months to think about why your plans got derailed. That's not a really good CTA IMHO. Perhaps something a bit less "You've tried and failed, why?" and a bit more "Do you need a little bit of help with reaching your goals?" would work better? Because if you mentally answer "yes" to "do you need a little bit of help with reaching your goals?", you are basically hooked and want to read on. Your mind is in "help me" mode, ie "I'm ready to give money to get help", rather than "self analysing what I've done wrong/feeling bad about it".

I clicked on "free trial" and I saw this "If you consistently check-in with Aspiry, and STILL feel like you haven't made any progress toward achieving your dreams, contact support and your subscription will be refunded, no questions asked." --> that implies, to me, that if I don't consistently check in with Aspiry (ie life gets in the way), I won't get a refund? It also means I have to "contact support", that's a lot of work to cancel a free trial - I would expect to be able to just click a button in the web app to cancel. Also, does it mean I pay upfront then get refunded? That is different from a free trial.

$14.99 is a bit steep, especially as 2 weeks isn't long enough to evaluate such a product IMHO. The issue with sticking to goals is over 3 months, not over 2 weeks (ie the initial enthusiasm).

Lastly, no Google/Facebook login? It may be asking a bit too much for someone to try it. If I try it for free, I kind of expect to be able to login with an existing open ID account. Later, if I upgrade to paid, it's fine to ask me to fill more login details.

As I said, your market is a crowded one. So this may sound harsh above, but there are a lot of products out there about setting goals/reaching goals/developing habits etc. If you're going to succeed, you need to smooth each step of the process to convert me into a free trial user (after that, to convert to a paid user, it depends on your product itself, which I haven't tried, so I can't comment on that).

Thank you very much for taking the time to provide such comprehensive feedback. You've given me a lot to consider around the copy, as well as the confusion between the free trial and the money-back guarantee.

I really appreciate the straightforward, honest feedback, that's exactly what I was looking for.

Yes, seems like I did get confused between the free trial and money-back guarantee! :-)

Glad you appreciate my feedback. I always try to give comprehensive feedback when I can, and your product is actually something I could be a user of, I have read, and am a fan of, Atomic Habits as well as Mini Habits (by Steven Guise)
