Feedback wanted: Commune & Teas — roommate-hunting app built around lifestyle fit and trust

Hey folks,
I’m Bin — a solo indie dev building Commune & Teas, a roommate-matching app that helps people find compatible roommates, not just available ones.

Instead of only rent or location filters, it focuses on lifestyle fit — things like cleanliness, sleep schedule, and shared interests — plus light social features (endorsements and “tea” discussions) to build trust before moving in.

I’m still trying to find early traction and would love your thoughts:
1️⃣ Does this feel genuinely useful or too niche?
2️⃣ What would make you trust someone enough to live with them?
3️⃣ Would you rather browse listings or get smart match suggestions?

If you’d like to try it out, here’s the App Store link 👇

Thanks for reading — I’ll keep sharing the journey as I build. 🙏

Bin, my man , love seeing how you keep building these thoughtfully-designed social products!

Commune & Teas is such a smart twist on roommate matching — lifestyle fit + trust is exactly what’s missing in most platforms today. Feels niche in the best way, and I can see it resonating with students and young professionals here in India.

We’re based in India at CogniMuse, and having followed your friends-only meme app earlier, I immediately thought: your ideas + our local growth expertise = huge potential. We could help you test Commune & Teas locally, optimize match algorithms for cultural fit, and even co-create engagement loops to make users come back daily.

If you’re open, I’d love to hop on a call and explore how we can scale these concepts together in India like early testing, adoption strategies, all of the other stuff. This could be a very exciting collabbb
