Feedback wanted for recently launched open-source project :)
Hey Indie Hackers, we just launched our open-source project, Stof (https://stof.dev), and we'd love any and all feedback on our docs, website, github, etc. This is our first official open-source launch and we want to make the most of it by getting feedback and improving quickly.
Stof is the future of data representation and utilization. It unifies and organizes data in layers, providing a simple, efficient, and portable interface into a complex and dynamic environment. Congrats on launching this. One thing I would look for as a first-time visitor is a very explicit "who is this for / when should I use it" section near the top. With open-source tools, the technical audience may understand the architecture quickly, but the people who feel the pain often need scenario-based examples before the value clicks.
I would also consider making the feedback path extremely obvious: "Found a confusing part? Open an issue here" or a short form for non-GitHub users. Early open-source launches seem to benefit when feedback feels invited rather than hidden behind the repo.

Three quick things:
Website and docs are beautiful. However it doesn't make sense to force me to go to the docs to get the use cases - just move them to a section on the main website.
I have this script to provide a CLI that converts TODOs to Uclusion jobs, bugs, or notes. I feel like parsing code meta data of top languages should be something stof should excel at since a lot of configuration is commonly stored in code. Then my convert TODO CLI would just be an obvious stof use - for instance I don't yet support multi-line comments because so painful in Python.
Can I get your feedback on Uclusion for open source developers? I'm thinking of reaching out to open source developers to be early adopters but am not certain the landing page is ready for that.
Hey @disrael thank you sm for the feedback sorry I just saw this! Uclusion looks really cool, I'm sure you've updated the landing page since you posted this but it seems like it would be ready to share with open source developers. Are you doing any sort of outreach to open source devs besides on here? another option for landing pages is vibe coding it with a super specific outline. i did this recently with Https://limitr.dev using Base44 and i think it turned out well. I created an outline in Notion and used Notion AI to polish it a bit then pasted into Base44 and it generated everything. you can also attach your product images in the prompt.

Instead of customization and large scale issue tracking have solo features and superior collaboration." kindve loses me also because it's not clear to me what the value is and "opinionated" doesnt mean much to me. The subhead is also confusing to me because i would still want customization.
