Feedback wanted: I'm building something for “chores you keep postponing”

I always found myself adding non-urgent chores to a long list and never touching them again.

So I'm building MotiveCamp, where instead of managing lists forever, you join a weekly challenge:
The app picks 2 random chores you’ve been avoiding, and you try to complete them to keep a streak.

Do you think a weekly 2-chores challenge is strong enough to help people actually finish the things they keep putting off?

Also, what would be the simplest MVP version you'd expect to try before deciding if it’s useful?

The "random selection" aspect is interesting - it removes the decision paralysis of which chore to tackle first. That's often half the battle with procrastinated tasks.

For MVP, I'd keep it dead simple: just the 2-chore challenge with a visible streak counter. No social features, no complex gamification - just "here are your two tasks, did you do them?" The moment someone sees their streak at risk, that's your retention hook.

One thing to consider: what happens when someone's list runs dry? The best case scenario is they actually finish their backlog - but then what keeps them in the app? Might be worth thinking about whether this is a "graduation" product or something with longer lifecycle.
