Help me validate my business idea
A user feedback software specifically tailored towards micro SaaS companies. The product allows to easily collect and act on customer feedback through simple text responses, element capturing, and rating.
While there are many feedback software products available, many of them are overly complicated and only offer a free trial limited by 1-2 weeks or very low number of responses available (20-30).
My product cut through the noise and provide easy-to-use feedback tool that is freely available to the builder community, NO time limit, HIGH responses amount available.

I really like that you get input from the community on this. I think we all should do that more often. Kind of "Roast my business idea" like. @csallen do we have some sort of thing going on here on IH already?
To give you some feedback on the idea:
At the moment, you would be competing with hotjar and if you want to make money you have to charge at some point some money. With this kind of features and messaging, you'll compete on price with hotjar. As they are an established company and have a generous free tier I believe it will be a race to the bottom.
What I would do...
Keep the initial idea with user feedback tool and come up with a more unique way of collecting user feedback instead of just copy what hotjar does. Then market it to a very specific group of people. Niche it down 3–4 levels. There are tons of micro SaaS companies. Be more specific. Also charge for your product. To get initial feedback, you can always reach out to people and let them try it for free.

Just want to bring value to the community by offering a simpler free to use alternative, and enjoy the process while doing so.
However, I will reconsider the marketing strategy and specifically the target niche.

Totally understand, nothing wrong about that, but the wording is wrong here. You asked to get validation on your Business idea. The goal of a business is to make money while providing value. :)
As a hotjar alternative, does it even do what hotjar does? Checked the website and it just seems like a feedback collector, whereas hotjar tracks user activity on your website.
So far I find hotjar's free plan to be more than enough.

They give only 20 responses per month, which is very low.
So the title mislead me, I'm using hotjar to track/understand user activity rather than collecting feedback. It provides me with 35 daily sessions for free and so far I'm happy with it.
Never tried collecting feedback, let you know if the need arises.

Yep, definitely misleading as a hotjar alternative. Might be a good alternative to other feedback collectors, but OP should have been more clear.
